I really want to love thid restaurant since it’s the only (?) Vietnamese restaurant in Florence, but the visit here fell short of my expectation. They use some typical Vietnamese flavours in their dishes, at the same time there were many things that make the dishes lacklusting. Pho was lacking taste, wasn’t served with hot sauce or fermented garlic. The glass noddles in seafood salad were overcooked. The filling in spring rolls was too thick and chewy. The lemongrass ginger tea was served cold and reminded me of hand washing water. The portion is very small so we had to order a lot. The waiter was friendly but he smoked outside the restaurant. I was craving for Vietnamese foods while in Italy but sadly this restaurant didn’t help much.

Showed up for a reservation, 20 minutes later than our scheduled time, they tried to seat 4 of us at a table for 2 by the door. Update: When we entered, there were 3 tables for two empty, of which only one was occupied by two, in the middle by a couple who had not yet started their meal, see if you can sort this elementary school level problem out? Realistically, we were left waiting for 20 minutes for a table they agreed to provide hours beforehand, watching empty tables. When they finally decided to seat us, with a very poor attitude, it was at a table for two. I leave this review not as the primary point of contact just a part of the dinner party. Perhaps a better attitude towards your customers would develop into not working late nights as the owner of a one location restaurant empire 😂 Your response to my initial review is just further evidence of the kind of treatment you can expect at this restaurant.
